2018 Race Review
The 36th Stevington 12k race was held on the 13th May 2018. It was a glorious day and one of the best races we’ve held with a field of 232 runners. The number of entrants was up by a 100 on the previous year and we plan on increasing this further next year with a target of over 300 runners.
The winner was Tyrone Farrer with a time of 42.51.
First female was Zoe Pike with a time of 49.18
See Race Results page.
We would like to thank all the runners for making it a fantastic morning and for helping to raise important funds for our village hall.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers who gave up their time. Without the help of so many, including the official adjudicators and timekeepers, marshals through to the cake makers, kitchen and bar staff, the event would not be possible.
We hope that those who ran in 2018 enjoyed the race and we look forward to seeing you again next year for our 37th race.
It’s important to note that this is a non-profit event, apart from race ‘hosting’ expenses all proceeds go towards the Stevington village hall which is a registered charity.
