Stevington 12K Route
Stevington 12K Road Race has been an annual event for the past 42 years. Open to all comers of 17 upwards it is a great event for club and fun runners alike.
Entry fees are £ 23.00 non-UK Athletic or £ 21.00 for UK Athletic affiliated and Run Together members.
Stevington 12K run starts at 10.00 a.m. from the playing field at Stevington Village Hall. The course is over country roads via the villages of Oakley and Pavenham in an anti-clockwise direction returning to Stevington Village Hall for the finish line.
Runners can collect their race numbers at the Village Hall from 8.30am Sunday morning
Two water stations will be provided. Kilometre posts will be in position. Intersections will be controlled by marshals. Refreshments, changing facilities, showers and toilets will be available subject to any prevailing government guidelines. Children’s playground.
Open to All Comers (Minimum Age 17). Category winners – 1st Senior Male, 1st Senior Female, 1st Veteran Male, 1st Veteran Female, 1st Stevington runner will receive trophies.
All finishers will receive a medal and we have again arranged for a photographer to cover the event and will be offering free downloads of photos for all participants.
First Aid station is at the village hall race control plus a mobile team.
Hot and cold refreshments and licensed bar available subject to any prevailing government guidelines.
Stevington12k is an event organised by Stevington Village Hall. The event is managed and run by volunteers from the village as a non-profit event to raise funds for the maintenance and support of the village hall and playing field. Registered Charity No: 1204630
Stevington12k committee also sponsor an additional independent charity by donation for each event, this year we will be sponsoring Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice via donations collected on your application form and collection boxes on the day.
